We are aware of recent claims about sewage contamination in St. George's Bay. We want to make it absolutely clear: WSC’s network is not the cause. The contamination stems from blockages caused by third-party activities and improper waste disposal into water culverts.

WSC participated in this year's #PublicServiceExpo, which offered us an excellent opportunity to showcase our staff's skills within the sphere of our operations. We were also thrilled to promote the POVE #Water project.

We regret to inform the community that another New Water dispenser, this time in Xewkija, Gozo has been subjected to vandalism. This act not only damages our shared resources but also affects everyone relying on these essential services.

We're installing an emergency generator at our RO plant in Pembroke. This essential upgrade will minimize startup delays when power from the grid is lost. This is all part of our commitment to providing you with uninterrupted, high-quality water services.

Works on €6.4m St Paul's Bay sewer project are progressing steadily, with the 26m deep main launching shaft having been excavated & microtunnel drilling works expected to start soon. Project will ensure sewage network will cater for future demand. @sostenibilitamt
