Meet new Wallace Scholar Kayla Spoors from St. Charles, Missouri📍. Kayla attends @HowellNorthFHSD High School and has a love of math and a fascination with flight and all things space. She will be an aerospace engineering major at WSU✈️.

Meet new Wallace Scholar Rishi Rathi from Edmond, Oklahoma📍. Rishi attends @RealDeerCreekHS and became fascinated with aerospace when he was 14 years old and watched a rocket launch. He will be an aerospace engineering major at WSU✈️.

Meet new Wallace Scholar Hannah Marie Payumo from Omaha, Nebraska📍. She attends Daniel J Gross Catholic High School and says her interest in engineering was sparked by her school’s engineering team😁. Hannah Marie will be majoring in biomedical engineering at WSU💚.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another amazing Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) event yesterday😁! We hosted close to 200 high school students and their chaperones with the goal of empowering students to pursue careers in STEM fields👏.
