Emma from the Rape and Domestic Violence Information Center (R.D.V.I.C.) in Morgantown gave a presentation today to Clinical Services and MCHD Dentistry staffers to discuss how to spot abuse in patients and what to do if someone seeks help.

Free lead testing that began in Harrison County has now been expanded to all six counties covered by MCHD WIC! Blood testing for ages 1 and up detects lead levels that can be high due to drinking water and lead in household paint. More info: monchd.org/services/lead-…

As National Public Health Week comes to a close, we are highlighting MCHD WIC, Morgantown, WV, which provides breastfeeding support and nutrition packages to those who qualify, as well as breastfeeding classes, nutritional counseling and lead testing to the public.
