Congratulations to our Science Olympiad team that just competed in the Raleigh Regional tournament. They medaled in Circuit Lab, Codebusters, Helicopter, Machines, Remote Sensing and Water Quality, and won gold for Electric Vehicle! @WakefieldStrong @mbazzellWCPSS

@WakefieldES celebrated their alumni by inviting the Class of 2025 back to where their education journey started. They visited their former teachers and had one last recess on the playground. @WakefieldHS

Two wonderful evenings of music @WakefieldMiddle with Beginning Band and Jazz Band on Tuesday, and Orchestra, Intermediate, and Advanced Band on Thursday. These students are very talented!

Anyone interested in learning about Wakefield Athletics including Wakefield Baseball come on out to Meet The Coach Night, this includes rising 9th graders, transfers or anyone currently on Campus.

Rising 7th and 8th graders interested in trying out for Cheer, Football, or Girls Soccer in the fall should plan to attend the interest meeting on Wednesday, May 28th at 3:45pm. Rides must be here by 4:15pm, student pick-up is in the carpool loop.

Summer Team Camp Schedule

Wakefield Horticulture is holding their annual prom flower workshop on May 16th during PACK time in room 316! The fee to attend the workshop is $20. You will have your choice of creating 2 flower sets. Options include corsages, boutonnieres, and bouquets.

We celebrated Mr. Fussell during Wakefield Community's 25th Anniversary Celebration. He remains a strong presence at Wakefield Middle, having been part of the original team that opened the school and now the last founding member still serving.  @WakefieldStrong
