It’s going to be a chilly morning tomorrow as we welcome nearly 4400 elementary school students back to school for hybrid learning. Be sure to wear a coat. And a mask.

Our first day with students in our caring cafe was a success! Our PK students enjoyed their own space while eating their lunches. We have missed our students and happy to have a small cohort of preschoolers back in the building.

The Des Moines School Board has unanimously approved a change to the 2020-21 school calendar. The first day of classes for students will be Tuesday, September 8.
