Have you spotted the train planter in Thetford town centre? We’ve had a lovely letter from the town council letting us know Thetford received a Gold Award for Britain in Bloom. Warren are proud to have played our part, manufacturing the train and carriage.

Here's a snippet of #NationalManufacturingDay at Warren a couple of weeks ago, where hundreds of local school children got a complete insight into the world of engineering.

It was a pleasure to have CEO of @twi_ltd, Caroline Gumble visit Warren recently. Caroline and Richard have known each other for around 30 years and it had been a long time since they'd last gotten together.

Thank you to the Engineering Talent Awards for having us last week, we were thrilled to win the Small-Medium Enterprise of the Year award, due to our commitment extending beyond the workplace with our apprenticeships, STEM outreach, and skills Bootcamps across Norfolk & Suffolk.

Warren has invested in two Automated External Defibrillators, adding to the network of life-saving equipment available across our industrial estate. They have been registered on The Circuit, meaning they're visible map for ambulance crews (and the public) to potentially use.

In celebration of #NationalManufacturingDay yesterday, we invited around 275 school children in, where they had tours of many of our manufacturing areas, demos of machinery, and they also got to build Warren branded lego minifigures.

Warren has been moving up in the welding world, and we were delighted to welcome visitors from @WeldingInst. This was a valuable visit for Warren, reinforcing our commitment to the highest standards in welding. We look forward to building a stronger relationship with TWI.

We recently took a visit to @thetfordacaduk, dropping off DT materials. It’s become a regular thing now and we’re grateful to other suppliers who’ve helped out. School budgets are tight so without support, students can miss out on making and building with proper materials.

5 years ago, Alistair came to Warren, finding his home in the technical area and supporting us with promoting and encouraging other young people into engineering We wish him all the best in his new endeavours!

This year, Warren participated in the Shadwell Cup, a long-standing tournament held to show our appreciation to Shadwell for their generous donations which helped fund the club’s new extension. This new space means we can host more social events and boost our fundraising.

Climate scientists at the UN IPCC have highlighted the next five years as critical in tackling climate change before effects become irreversible. By achieving Carbon Neutral status, we’re looking at balancing the emissions we create now while reducing them in the future.
