The timeless value in a vintage manual wind Waltham. Lots of bang for the buck here. This one has a 17-jewel manual-wind movement, a clean champagne dial, and a red-tipped seconds hand that gives it just enough extra character. It is light on the wrist, straightforward, and very much from that smaller mid-century era that still wears well now. That is part of the appeal with old manual winds. Ausgestattet ist die JAGDUHR 3006 mit einer außergewöhnlichen Komplikation, wie sie bei unseren Uhren hier zum ersten Mal Verwendung findet. This old Swiss Lord Nelson has exactly the kind of charm I look for in a used watch. It is light on the wrist, likely around 60 years old, still running, and built around a simple, classic dial with a great red day window. The date quick-sets. The day does not. That just means it is better when it stays in the rotation. The case shows age. The acrylic could take a polish. The new black strap works, though a more vintage option would be fun. Of the six dial variations introduced, six of them are lacquered, while the frosty blue option goes for the more familiar sunray-brushed finish. It’s all about the blue. The Invicta Subaqua 1535 has a light blue silicone strap, matching dial accents, a 50mm case, and 217g of wrist presence.
