Sec-Tres Tony Henderson, What is a fun fact about you? “I’ve always loved aviation and will be taking my first flight lesson soon because of a Christmas gift from my husband. I also toured SFO Airport during the 2010 Annual Meeting, seeing all of the behind-the-scenes operations”

Sec-Tres Candidate Marc Violett, What is the most challenging project you have worked on? “I  worked on one project for 7 years from the original project report to providing construction support. Over that time the project changed throughout every step of the process.”

Sec-Tres Candidate Tony Henderson, What is the most challenging project you have worked on? “Leading the SFMTA’s preparation for the 2023 APEC meeting with 21 heads of state and balancing local, state, and federal transportation and security needs.”

Sec-Tres Candidate, Tony Henderson “What was the best advice you've received?” Say what needs to be said but avoid over-explaining. Don’t overwhelm the audience. You need to balance being informative and being engaging.

Sec-Tres candidate, Marc Violett, “Why did you join ITE?” I got involved because I saw how much a co-worker loved ITE and started participating, which kick-started my own involvement.

Sec-Tres candidate, Ton Henderson, “Why did you join ITE?” I got excited about transportation in college, helped re-launch my college’s ITE chapter, and participated in several transportation and design competitions. I have been a part of ITE ever since.
