Decaf sucks. Today I’m unsucking it. I'm hella stoked to introduce Wimp Decaf wimpdecaf.com. Jump on that waitlist! Most decaf drinkers are tired of sacrificing taste and quality. Most companies use low-quality beans and toxic decaffeination practices, leading to bland results and an unhealthy lack of choice. Delicious coffee should be enjoyed any time of day. It should be as dialed at 8pm as it is at 8am. Where are the great tasting healthy options?? Beer and water industries were facing similar issues. Now look at Athletic Brewing and Liquid Death. Decaf is another underdog and coming out to play with the cool kids. Welcome Wimp. We choose our beans with craft care. Our partners in Guatemala, Colombia, and beyond grow pure, clean, and wildly sophisticated beans. We use safe, flavorful methods like Swiss Water, Ethyl Acetate (a naturally occurring reaction in fermentation processes), and Carbonic Maceration (coming from the wine industry) for decaffeination, ensuring clean and delicious decaf. “IDK what wizardry you are doing but this is definitely better than any other decafs that I’ve had.” Jeff Sheldon (@ugmonk) Wimp is more than just coffee. It’s a posse of people shaking off hustle culture. We’re choosing to enjoy life, work out loud, and have fun. Calm as fuck is a common reply to “how you doin'?” around here. We’re building Wimp in public, embracing every awkward misstep and pro move. It’s like a reality show, but with less drama and more coffee. Why call it Wimp? Someone once said decaf was for the weak. Whatever, dude. We’re owning it, and making decaf the underdog hero. We’re turning what culture says about hustle on it’s head. We're about enjoying great coffee any-freaking-time you want. Join us at wimpdecaf.com and be part of the relax revolution. (too much?🤣) No more chemical-laden, tasteless brews. We’re here for quality, clean beans, and heaps of fun. Stay tuned for more of my personal story over this coming month as we move toward our full launch.

Any folks have any typefaces they know of that have similar, angular, monoline script characteristics? What-the-font etc aren't giving me the results I want ;) I presume this is a custom logotype. It's just :chefskiss:

@PeopleDataLabs I tried to sign up for your service but I'm stuck in a loop of email verification hell. Can't even reach out to support without verifying my email, which I've done, but your app is not letting me in.

@fffabs @moumoujus The underline and maybe the angle feel action/sports to me. Definitely European vibes. I don't know enough about the brand to say more, but I like both these types on their own too.

@whale @moumoujus Thanks man! I was inspired by old Italian signs and logos, I want something a bit more classic and high-end feel. A lot of beauty uses sans serif fonts.

@whale Like in motorcycle touring? 🤨 Man, I can give you TONS of great routes through the Dolomites and northern Italy. Everything south of Lake Garda is not so much fun, though. If you can, stick to the Alps and go further east into Austria.

Do I know anyone who's done moto touring in Europe? I'm looking into a ride from Strasbourg, into the Dolomites, and then back down into Gubbio in the Perugia area.

One of my favorite features in Patina is pressing ⌘+J to quickly jot down my thoughts throughout the day. It's a super simple, no-frills way to journal — a practice I've long wanted to adopt but always been intimidated by. Try it 👉 patina.md

Is there a definitive guide to setting up macmail to archive instead of delete and map correctly to gmail to archive instead of delete? I've tried everything and AI is just as confused as I am.

@egojab That point about one-sided is spot on. I feel that too. I seek mutuality in my friendships these days

@whale When I was young I had a lot of friends I considered close. As I get older I have less, but they are far closer and the feeling is less one-sided. My closest friends now, I consider "family" more than all of my actual family, except my daughter and grandson.

At 47 years old, I have better true friends today than I've ever had. I can't believe how lucky I am. The gift of being let in to other's real lives, their real vulnerabilities, joys, and fears. What a wild ride. How about you? What are you learning about friendship?

@saismo Well said. Every relationship ends. In cessation or death. Nothing is forever, but man, when you have those long term friendships it's really special.

@whale My take? Life changes a lot, and friendship doesn’t always stay simple. Some friendships just expire, and life takes people in different directions. But I’ve had a very small circle of close friends for 20+ years now, which feels pretty special.

@whale Careful, this sounds dangerously like a rich and meaningful life. LinkedIn won’t like it. 😅 Then again, you’re a genuinely good dude, so no wonder.

@chaseheckendorn You found it in your house?! BAHAHAHA. Sorry, couldn't help myself. I'm starting to do tech free Sundays myself and man it's a gift. The boredom it produces is healing. My cousin's showed me Skylight. Looks cool.

We discovered ADHD in our house this year. It was a domino effect.. First middle son > then wife > the youngest son. Everything makes more sense now and our house runs so much more smoothly just simply understanding it better. Taking a 100% screen-free day every Sunday has had a bigger impact than anything else we've tried... but more app focused, my wife uses a skylight calendar - everyone loves the visualization/structure. Basically just a big visual fam google calendar that sits in the kitchen.
