What Got Done

You can now download a full export of your What Got Done account data, including all published entries, drafts, and profile information. You can find the export feature at the bottom of your profile page.

What Got Done is moving from Google Cloud Firestore to SQLite + @litestreamio! This change means you can self-host What Got Done on any platform, and it reduces database costs to pennies per month. Here's a test instance running on @flydotio.

You can now list your Mastodon address in your WhatGotDone profile @joinmastodon #fediverse

Profile photos are now live! Give your What Got Done profile some personality by adding a photo.

New feature: entry templates If you use a consistent structure in your weekly updates, you can now save a boilerplate template on What Got Done. Every time you start a new weekly entry, What Got Done will pre-populate it with your template.

With the wild explosion in What Got Done's popularity (read: three new users), it might be hard to see updates from the people you know. That's why we just launched a personalized What Got Done feed for users you choose to follow.

New little feature: What Got Done will now (sort of) render Twitter cards for your weekly updates if you share them on Twitter.
