@patrician_tv I find it so funny that the fall off of RVB follows the same decline Halo had. It's as if each season was cursed by the game it was built from.

Seasons 1-5 are so interesting because it was really hard for them to have more than 4 characters in a scene and they had to write around that limitation.
By season 10 RVB had morphed into the entire ensemble standing in a line while one character does exposition

We didn’t “lose” physical media. We walked away from it. The shops still exist. The discs, the vinyl, the collections, all still there waiting. Streaming is easy. Owning something is meaningful. If you miss it… support it.

Just realized Noah Hawley was a writer for the god awful Alien Earth show. Somehow these hack writers who don't care about or understand the material they work on continue to be given new projects to ruin.

Noah Hawley says his ‘FAR CRY’ series won’t be adapting any of the games as he thinks audiences skip the story cutscenes in those games. “When you play a video game, you only really move forward through the gameplay section, and then you have these cut scenes that you can skip, so when you go to adapt those games you have to be aware that makes the human drama kind of irrelevant to the storyline.” (Source: Deadline)

Probably the worst Xenomorph design in the franchise. I love Weta Workshop but man... this thing looks like crap. The proportions are all wrong. It's also sanded away all the unique HR Giger-esc features the xenomorph is known for.

I'm pretty excited for this, but I'm curious to see how well it succeeds considering there's a lot of competition out these days for this kind of open ended game. Roblox comes to mind as the biggest competitor out now.

Cautiously optimistic for this one, Alien Isolation was a fantastic game that really only suffered from it's length. (great set pieces throughout don't get me wrong)
Easily the best Alien game we've ever gotten. The atmosphere was top notch. Fingers crossed for the sequel.
