@WhitegateAcorns Science Week- Reception have enjoyed exploring colour mixing.

@WhitegateAcorns Reception World Book Day! Reception had a wonderful day dressing up for World Book Day. They also enjoyed sharing some of their favourite stories.

Reception have been busy learning about Internet safety and have enjoyed talking about staying safe online. The children had lots of fun playing different age appropriate computer games.

Acorns have had lots of fun celebrating the Chinese New Year. They enjoyed a Chinese Banquet today of rice, noodles and prawn crackers.

Today in Acorns class, we have been practising our counting and recognising numbers!

Reception have had lot of fun outside today practising and developing our large body movements.

Reception had a fantastic visit from, Winsford Fire and rescue. The children got a tour of the fire engine and each practised their firefighting skills using the hose!

Wow, what a great day Acorns have had at Wheelock Hall Farm! The children explored the indoor and outdoor play areas and fed all the lovely farm animals. We also chose the perfect Christmas tree for our school. Well done Acorns!

We are so proud of how well Acorns performed in our Harvest service today. They sat beautifully in church and sang 'Big Red Combine Harvester' brilliantly. ⁦@SchoolWhitegate⁩

The children were very creative at construction club tonight. We made square based pyramids, build a bear, vehicles and houses.
