Gross seeing OKC fans shitting in Luka in an injury situation. Yes, he was being outplayed early but the shit I’ve seen since the injury is out-of-pocket. Just take the MVP in grace.

Would normally agree based on the assumption alone, but I ran the numbers of Wemby's 4th quarters in games where he plays >36 mins. Pretty surprising - on average his performance to close out those last 9-12 minutes pretty much matches her PER36 for the rest of the season with far better ASST numbers. Small sample, but from this you could argue his game remains fairly consistent from start to finish.

@asaadkamal @espn And now normalize for the fact that Wemby had these numbers only playing 1784 minutes and Luka played 2144 minutes at this same point. 30.5 PPG - 14.1 RPG - 3.8 APG - 1.3 STL - 3.8 BLK That chart starts to look a little different 😉
