Teachers aren’t indoctrinating students. They aren’t grooming them. They aren’t from the “dumb” classes in college. None of this even should need to be said but here we are. Please support candidates who value teachers / public schools. Our society would crumble without them.

Every #WCSB board member, when voting for or against anything related to school vouchers, should first have to state whether or not they currently have a child in private school or have plans to do so within their term.

A hill I'll die on: Private school vouchers should be completely eliminated. It's just wealthy people looting public education. Shameful.

I honestly do not understand why public school families aren't screaming about this. In Pitt county alone - where media household income is $45k - the state is spending $4.5Million to subsidize private school for 2,316 kids. Half of whom come from families making more than $115k.

This guy is zoned to recently-named US Blue Ribbon School, but I bet he’s never darkened its door—nor that of any public school in his community. These types of falsehoods are incredibly disrespectful to professional public school educators.

Question: why do so many of Lee Reeves’ mailers come from out of state orgs, like School Freedom Fund? Answer: because he is backed by national pro voucher organizations that have nothing to do with our community. It’s a big tell when most of a candidate’s mailers aren’t local
