Burnt out on Pokemon Champions. I got so obsessed with winning and spending countless hours trying to build strong teams that I’ve now gone numb to winning. This game is poison and reminds me why I hate competitive PvP

@GummyGamer_YT It is much harder to analyze and improve without a replay function. Having to remember every mistake is rough. It’s much easier taking notes when you can actually look back where to improve.

@Xhog0 @Rednu23 Not really. The team I started out with was completely different. Only Aggron and oranguru was the same. As I lost battles, I took notes on why, and researched mons on serebii to look up movesets to see what would benefit. it takes patience and effort, anybody can learn.

This game moves so quick. First Sun is meta, now nobody plays Zard Y. Floette is meta, she's dropping. Incineroar most used, now Sneasler on top. There are so many people playing, matches firing, that the meta is shifting day by day. It's kinda insane.

@osushi_yee Gabe Newell himself once said that piracy is a service problem and Steam has proven that to be the case. If the game is available to buy, people will buy it. Most people are too lazy to figure out how to pirate a game when buying it is more convenient. Also supporting it.

@Rednu23 Just build a balanced team that has lots of answers into commons things. Pilot it well. Adjust tool kits as you see gaps.

@DNCHI77 This game's mechanics are so broken man. Someone got a flinch on me twice in a row and flinched both allies yet I can't get a single flinch even with King's Rock boosting it.

Games like Super Mario Bros. and Prince of Persia taught: fail, restart, keep going you had to earn progress. Games like Tetris and The Legend of Zelda trained maps and patterns, building memory, navigation, and patience. Finish a level turn off the console. No infinite dopamine. Play was social: one couch, one screen, real conflict and cooperation. Today, games like Fortnite and Roblox are endless, with autosaves and reward systems that keep you playing. They hold attention but don’t train completion the same way. The difference is simple: 90s kids built focus and tolerance for failure, while today’s players are shaped by constant stimulation. What do you think about this?

I wasn't sure about playing Pokemon Champions because I have no clue what I'm doing with competitive Pokemon. Then I play the game and find out no one else does either.

@Flats_OW I recently learned Sucker Punch even beats Quick Claw so if you need to counter opponents using that too much, that's one way of doing it.

@no_dupes It's especially frustrating when things with a percentage chance work for everyone else EXCEPT YOU Stone Edge Scope Lens is infuriating in this regard because it never crits, yet opponents will always get crits on you.

This is part of why the item pool champions has is so baffling. Assault vest not in the game cause too many items is confusing for casuals but RNG items that encourage bad habits are fine? Imagine being a casual and your 100% acc move whiffs and not knowing why bc of brightpowder

@NBinted You use the meta too much, it's going to get hard countered by everyone. Hence why everyone has a Sneasler in their team against Mega Floette.
