Sadly, the TV coverage of the #Artemis mission has been really poor. NASA hasn’t improved much on the standards set back in the 60s and 70s. And with Donald Trump’s appointee Jared Isaacman at the helm, it feels like a missed opportunity to make something genuinely great.

@Xotmid Have you watched a SpaceX launch? It utilizes all the tech we now have available. Simply amazing. We were rather stunned at the lack of same on the Artemis launch. Didn't keep us from being excited as all get out but dayum.

@Nobunny333 The curve is the gravity turn: go up first, then pitch over to build horizontal speed, because orbit is mostly about going sideways fast enough. That creates an ellipse with perigee and apogee, then later burns raise and shape that orbit before committing to the Moon.
