Congratulations to the YHS Sci Res team for an amazing showing at the Tri County Science and Technology Fair. Alex won best in fair and Dhaya was in the top 5 out of 176 participants. Our school was also highest scoring in the fair! @YHSDeGennaro @GOLLISZJOHN @YorktownCSD

This weekend, Dhayashree Ravi presented her research at the Harvard Undergraduate World Pre-Health Conference (HUWPC). She showcased her work alongside approximately 35 pre-medical and medical students from across the globe. Congratulations Dhaya! @YorktownCSD @YHSDeGennaro

Congratulations again to Jashvi! As an STS finalist, she joins the ranks of distinguished alumni, including 13 Nobel Laureates, 23 MacArthur Fellows, and 14 winners of the National Medal of Science. We look forward to all she will accomplish! @YorktownCSD @Society4Science

This weekend Jashvi underwent general science panel and project specific judging. She and the finalists met alumni Ed Thorp and played in a Ping Pong Tournament. Next up, field trips and Hill Day where they will meet representatives in Congress! @Society4Science @YHSDeGennaro

Today is the first day of the Regeneron Science Talent Search Top 40 Finalist week! Jashvi met with United States Congresswoman Madeleine Dean. They discussed Jashvi’s research and Representative Dean’s work on the House Appropriations Committee. Good luck this week Jashvi!

A few weeks back we took a team building field trip to go rock climbing. Thanks to Mr. Seweryn and our parent foundation for coordinating the trip!
