How to play the best champion of the patch: - Graves (Runes and builds listed below) Graves in previous patch was already in between S/A tier but with hubris buffs this puts him as one of the top 3 strongest junglers on the patch, anyone else that isnt an S champ will not be able to match him. IMPORTANT: your autos can be blocked and will only hit what is in front of you, or sometimes around it if the pellets spray wide enough. so be careful when fighting in waves or under turrets that you are targeting what you want. also be careful when farming your jungle and make sure you are targeting the large monster and not mini monsters His E especially is really strong so it is important to maintain your E stacks during your clear as it makes your clear much faster and if you are going to engage in a fight it is very crucial To do this pull your camps to the very max range when you are clearing your jungle and auto at the last second to reset your E stacks. If you are ganking/invading do the same thing except pull the camp to the lane you are ganking/invading. Being in combat also maintains your E stacks so you can auto anything on the map: a minion, ward, camp etc. You can also use your W to pull a camp to maintain E stacks if they are about to fall off and you cant reach with an auto in time. Casting E again will also reset your E stack timer so when going between camps or for an invade/gank you can alternate between hitting the camp and saving your E for the last second when ganking to reset the timer. W is really strong for blocking enemy vision, you want to use it at their attack range. So vs melee champs use it when they are on top of you and force them to back off or walk farther into you while kiting, THEN use your E when they get back into attack range. vs Ranged champs you will need to know generally their attack range and place it at that distance. you want to place it on them so they lose vision. slightly towards the direction they are walking, likely towards you, so when they walk towards you they get blinded or they have to walk around. aim it farther away from them if they are running away. Vs bruisers (standard fleet footwork runes) Hubris --> Trinity force --> cleaver --> jak sho --> steraks Vs squishy (dark harvest crit build) Hubris --> Hexoptics --> LDR/Shieldbow --> Infinity Edge I will address this here because people are against hexoptics. Even without the full damage buff the item is better than other critical items and is very cheap. at max range graves gets 8.5% damage buff so its sufficient and you will notice the difference. Even without the damage buff the item is stat efficient as it is the cheapest crit item that has AD My secret tech (personal preference) Unsealed spellbook --> cash back --> triple tonic --> approach velocity --> sudden impact --> treasure hunter Can go either build with these runes Hubris --> Trinity force --> cleaver --> jak sho --> steraks Hubris --> Hexoptics --> LDR/Shieldbow --> Infinity Edge Personally I dont like Fleetfootwork and Dark Harvest so I take unsealed spellbook, essentially just a replacement for not having a good keystone. however, ghost is really nice for making up for graves mediocre ganks, and swapping to exhaust/ignite with graves very strong E skill makes him an almost unstoppable duelist. Teleport will also come in handy at times. Approach velocity really helps for sticking on people and ganking with the W slow. As well if you have red buff or red smite the slow from it will allow you to have a permanent 15% movement speed buff that really helps with graves sticking power and is a better form of fleet footwork. triple tonic is really strong on graves as his E and Q spells are really important to max both as fast as possible so you will feel really strong at level 9 with Hubris. Cash back is really good for getting your items faster and graves scales really well. This also allows you to take all 3 white tree runes which i think is good Let me know which build and runes you like best and if you have success with the unsealed spellbook
