Congratulations Jared White on 10 years of service. Jared is an engineer assigned to Yuma Engine 3 on “C” shift. Jared is also a technical rescue technician and serves as the project manager for stabilization and extrication equipment. Thank you for all you do.

The Yuma Fire Department hosted testing for a Captain’s recruitment. The process began today with a written test. Good luck to all the candidates!

On Thursday 1/8/2025, at around 3:45 pm, the Yuma Fire Department answered a mutual aid request from California authorities regarding a “single resource deployment” to the “Pacific Palisades Fire” burning in Los Angeles County.

The Yuma Fire Department responded to 399 emergency calls for service.
