It’s now been 7 days since early access launch and I can confidently say that I have no regrets saving Hytale, it’s been the most challenging but rewarding experience of my life. Thank you everyone for the amazing support, and a big thank you for the rebuilt Hytale team for trusting me to get this to the finish line in just a few months. I haven’t been involved with Hytale development for many years and coming back was a big unknown and risk for me, and my family. I fully trusted the people and it just worked. Amazing team, every single one made a big difference.

We might be able to ship the entire update, along with some additional fixes and new Rex/Snapdragon attacks, in a couple of hours. Didn't make it in time for today due to some issues, but we're good now. We'll go sleep a bit, and then we will be back to push changes to pre-release, and if all is good, it's release time for update #1.

Hytale pre-release for update #1 is accessible via the launcher! I made a channel on the official Hytale Discord, # pre-release-testing, to gather bugs/issues specifically related to the pre-release. Check the pinned message there to see more details. (Will set up proper bug reporting for pre-release in the future.) TLDR: It's a larger patch than I was expecting, so it will be tricky to roll out today to the release build, given the number of new players we have coming in! I will try to cherry-pick the most wanted features if we can't make the full update today. Thanks to all for your support! We will eventually find a good patch release cadence to make sure modders/servers are prepared in advance. Right now, it's rapid updates to improve players' QoL ASAP.
