@feederofcats - end up empty as well and both domestic dogs and cats will cease to exist. Ethical breeding for both animals provides predictable temperaments and genetics, instead of where adopting can be a mixed bag. Both shelters and breeders have their place.

there is no such thing as ethical breeding and there is no excuse to support cat breeding. You cannot say you are an advocate for cat welfare or rescue if you support breeding. Just want to make that clear 🫶🏼

@socfemme Again, not everyone wants or can handle a shelter animal. And not all shelters are good. If a person that wants a pedigreed animal but can’t at the moment have one, but won’t have a shelter animal, that animal won’t have that home regardless.
