This is what people don’t get. Trackhouse performance just isn’t there right now (Chevy as a whole is down) and 23XI and Toyota are smoking everyone. The talent is there, just be patient. #CZNation

@tarrance_rose19 Connor actually dominated in Xfinity and showed a lot of potential. Furthermore, 23XI has significantly superior performance right now while Trackhouse best driver (Ross) struggles to manage a top 10 on good days. If CZ was doing this poorly in 23XI cars he’d have more hate.

@TeamTrackhouse @RossChastain Ross looked good today! And I truly believe Connor would have been in the top 15 had the damage from the wreck not messed him up. Great effort! Onto San Diego where SVG and CZ should be pretty good! 🤞🏻

Well, the bad news is we were involved in someone else’s mess early in the race and went a lap down. NOW the good news is we never quit fighting and got back on the lead lap and finished 23rd. Good fight! @ConnorZilisch onto the next one!

Man, you can hear the disappointment in his voice. CZ has the talent but the learning curve on the cup cars is just so steep. We will bounce back. It will just take seat time.

Annnnnd we’re done. The cause for both cautions and this time, we got loose off of turn 2 and went nose first into the inside wall. Tough tough day. We will battle back through the season. Keep your head up @ConnorZilisch

With 4 points finishes of 20th or better, but 9 finishes worse than 20th, it’s been the definition of “Up and Down” this season. The talent is there for driver 88, we just have to get the seat time and the mechanical gremlins to stay away. 🤙🏻🏁
