@NewLnr2 @MerrimentCirice i think a point youre missing is both roxys /are/ the same character. candy roxy isnt out as a trans guy yet (and may never get there!) but that is solely due to the different world she's living in compared to meat roxy

@_38mb @MerrimentCirice it just feels boring to have two versions of a character and not vary them at all. having two interpretations of roxys gender identity post canon with one being trans and one being c1s is way more interesting lowkey. imagine what csau did but if it was actually well executed.

there's people who will look you in the eye after seeing these two versions of the same character and say meat roxy "only got a haircut" to devalue his transition

one time i found an old sears catalog in my attic & so for fun i decided to order some tools from it so i filled out the order form, put it in an envelope with a check & mailed it off & 6 to 8 weeks later an elderly man showed up on my porch & said, “we don’t exist anymore.”

do people realise "its okay to be uncomfortable with proshippers" and "absolutely do not tell random proshippers that are 90% of the time minors to kill themselves when they are not even active predators" are beliefs that can exist together

@NewLnr2 @MerrimentCirice roxy is trans either way, the candy one just hasnt figured it out because the material conditions of the world theyre all in doesnt really allow them time to think about that kind of thing

@MerrimentCirice semi off topic but what i also don’t like about how people talk abt meat and candy roxy is how they say one version should conform to the others gender, which i think defeats the entire point and novelty of having two separate timelines and two versions of the same character. idk
