@Massawyrm @JacobQKnight Except Angel Studios isn’t a non-profit and pay it forward isn’t a donation. The “contributions” are going straight to the studio. Well meaning people think they are doing good while the studio uses the money for whatever they want. It’s all smoke & mirrors. Read the disclaimer.

@JacobQKnight It's a culture war grift. They get churches to donate up to $10k as part of their Pay-it-Forward initiative. Those tickets are considered a charitable donation, the seats are given away (or not), and the donations goose the box office. Then conservatives hear what a hit it is.

I enjoyed the great turnout today for Rose Day at the Capitol. This annual event brings out pro-life advocates, who celebrate the sanctity of life. I am proud to attend this event every year and stand up for the unborn.

@writermomof4 Lol. I wonder if it varies by state. In eastern NC I've only heard PEE-can (other than in ice cream). 😂

@_AshleyBratcher On the tree or on the ground, in my food or by themselves, they are in every form “p‘CONS” to me. The first few times my grandmother said “PEE-cans” I didn’t have a clue what she was talking about.

@_AshleyBratcher My Grandmother in TX had pecan (pacon) trees and we would fill paper grocery bags with them every year. A pee-can was something that some others kept under the bed!
