@BigMeeish @motivatedjoy2 @Iyefuu Calculus, algebra, trigonometry, logic and geometry - level of math. If anyone is given enough time, anyone can learn ANYTHING , including theoretical physics.

@BigMeeish @motivatedjoy2 @Iyefuu Lol. You probably have no understanding of how the human mind and brain works. I've seen people who were poor at math become really good over time just as a result of proper training.

@_CodeNerd_ @motivatedjoy2 @Iyefuu This has its limits. Everyone can't learn everything. Someone with an 80 IQ cannot be a theoretical physicist, I'm sorry, intelligence matters and IQ seems to measure the exactly the kind of ability that's required to be good at physics.

@Prosper_Ihechi Apostle Paul would have disagreed too.I think that the soul is an abstraction of the human mind, and apostle Paul highlights how we all have to go to war with our flesh everyday, just so we can be perfect, basically we have to panel beat our souls consistently, and this is ..

It appears we have overlooked a key aspect of Delta State's rich cultural heritage: its strong traditions of safeguarding and protecting women. In Delta State, particularly in communities such as Ozoro, relationships between men and women have long been governed and regulated by native laws and customs. These established norms emphasise respect, responsibility, and mutual accountability in personal and marital interactions. Moreover, certain cultural practices in the state are uniquely enforced by women themselves, underscoring the central and respected role they play in upholding societal values and maintaining order. Women in Delta State have historically been vital custodians of community standards, contributing significantly to social harmony, moral guidance, and the overall preservation of cultural integrity. Therefore, there is no such tradition or culture known as 'rape culture'.

People who argue that we should return to African traditions before the arrival of Christianity often overlook the fact that their current sense of morality has already been shaped by Christian influence. In doing so, they take for granted the extent of human wickedness, largely because they are unaware of what many societies were like before Christianity took root.

@JustSoniaOkike @AttorneyF_ There's been no documented report that shows where science and healing via natural remedies were subdued by the Early church. As it's even bad theology not to endorse science and natural healing methods.

This is genuinely pathetic. I hate to be that guy, but just last week I saw someone on here romanticizing African “spiritualism” to undermine Christianity, making it seem like the continent somehow lost out by moving away from those systems. But repugnant practices like this are either the fruit of those same systems or, at the very least, comfortably compatible with them. Makes you think.

This is nonsense. The rule of law is missing in this country because, if it existed, people would understand that there are consequences for actions like this. A sexual act that violates another person’s rights is nowhere near tradition. No tradition that infringes on rights is superior to the Constitution.

Girls in my village, Ozoro are getting raped all in the name of “tradition” Not one single male among them stopped to say it’s wrong and try to stop the rest. If Ozoro women come out to talk against men it’s still those people that’ll say “not all men”

A community that ought to protect its students! A community that ought to protect its students! A community that ought to protect its students! In Oleh, that year, when you go to the market, traders offer you huge discounts because you are a student. Even bike men and artisans do the same. But Ozoro?! Mad people who seem to be out for the blood of students unfortunate enough to school in their community. It is always one thing or the other. May the wrath of Allah be upon everyone involved in this and every community leader who has enabled an environment where this can happen.

@BigMeeish @motivatedjoy2 @Iyefuu The most important thing is that they just have to be willing to learn, and their instructors, must have the necessary knowledge-transfer skill to effectively train the student

There’s so much to unpack in that Asake doc Korty made. She is a genius and truly one of the most remarkable storytellers of our time. The one thing that stood out for me was his rebellion against reason and stubbornly insisting on his own path in life even when his parents wanted differently for him. I know his story is that of an outlier, but Life gives no certainty to anyone. In the end, the most courageous thing you can do is to take a chance on your self and answer the question of who you want to become with your own life. You can feel his quiet conviction and deep sense of providence that somehow everything would work out. And It did. Please watch that doc if you haven’t, but more importantly fight for your place in the world. We only get to do this life ting once.
