I thought the Astros would be pretty mid this year because that’s what happens when you keep letting your best players leave year after year. But it has been an incredible 10 year run!

Been a rough 24 hours for Houston sports:
Rockets blow a 13-point lead with 3 minutes left in OT.
Astros get shut out at home in the season opener vs. the Angels, managing just 3 hits.
UH falls in the Sweet 16 at the Toyota Center.

This game is painful for me to watch. Grew up cheering for @IlliniMBB because of my dad being from Illinois but I love Houston and what Sampson has done for @UHCougarMBK. Both have provided me with heartbreaking championship losses too.

For all the run-it-back rhetoric about the Yankees, it's easy to forget they led all of baseball with 849 runs last season. This is a good, deep offense. And their starting pitching is among the game's best. There's a reason a lot of people think they're the best team in the AL.
