I'm not like actually banking on this being true since the Spirhalite shards have a unique colour (also if they're shards then why are they conveniently top shaped) and "spirhalite" probably *is* just a salt pun but it's food for thought

salmonid ocs... i was going to add my other ones but i got tired. one of them is based off a the now extinct spike-toothed salmon but with sock eye colors, the other one is just a very small sanitized horrorboros. can tall yell im locked in for big BIG run?

A big differentiator between the salmons we know and the spiralite islands salmonids could be that
Our existing salmons more resemble fresh water real life salmons
But the ones in the spiralite islands are in the ocean waters, even being coated in hardened salt/barnacles
