These two lines of poetry hurt so nicely I had to draw a tiny heart next to them. Apparently I can't draw hearts, but the poetry still stands.

'You sing your first song for the wrong hearer, and the look on their face can be enough to send you inside forever' I'm glad Phil found his hearers, his words (and music) deserve to be heard.

Best description I’ve read so far of the way Johnson works. He has decimated the UK.

but you can't condemn the violence of the oppressed without acknowledgeding the violence of the oppressors. The pendulum swings, it never truly settles.

The systematic issues that are being protested against are absolutely bloodied in violent history, to expect retaliation to be entirely peaceful is alien to human nature. It's never good to see violence on such a mass scale, and I hope it ends soon... (4)
