Ouch 😣 A patient was rushed to the emergency room after sustaining a catastrophic industrial injury involving a coconut shell grinder. The left upper limb was entrapped in high-powered rotating machinery, resulting in extensive trauma, shattering his bones, muscles, ligament, vessels and skin. Imaging revealed comminuted fractures of the radius and ulna (bones of the forearm) with severe soft tissue damage, contamination, and compromised vascular integrity. Do you think this can be saved or should it be amputated? 🤔
