@thatgeminibloom Same can be said for some African/Black women. His mum had him with an old Italian dude thinking it was her ticket out. His ex-wife excused his dead-beat behavior because she admired his biracial features/wanted light skin babies. Light skin/white men given passes by black women.

@ArabHorner These societies constructed almost everything with stone - walls, kraals, roads, etc - minus roofs. The architecture is also unmistakably different from Swahili. A similarity would be that just like shonas, swahili buildings were stone heavy. Arabs were actually more earth based.

Outside of the pyramids, Bantus had the most widespread and numerous large-scale stone settlements in pre-colonial Africa.

@ArabHorner Even when you exclude coastal sabaki Bantu speakers interacting with outsiders to create the Swahilis, southeastern bantus in the hinterland mog arguably everyone when it comes to stone building. Barely anyone else had a penchant for this on the continent like they did.

@reluctantmutant Doubt this map is highlighting megalithic monuments, and the orange dots are settlements whose primary building material wasn't stone (brick, timber, etc).

While multipolar types are cheering this, we need go look at the business models this breaks. Many Asian refineries operate on margins of $3–$8 per barrel. A $1 dollar toll can represent a 12% to 33% reduction in net profit.
Peter Harrell@petereharrell

Remarkable reporting on how Iran is beginning to implement the new Hormuz Aya-toll: 1. Toll negotiations begin at $1/barrel 2. IRGC "vetting" to make sure ships not from "hostile" nations 3. Payment in yuan or stablecoin 4. Ships get "passcode" and "patrol boat" escort

@IntrepidKomen Bantus also moved around with cattle as they migrated. Just very versatile.

@_Keg___ Simple. Nomads who moved around with cattle didn't need to construct huge stone walls, thus you rarely see those with Cushitic and Nilotic cultures although they were there too.

@d1111111111113 Why are you having imaginary battles with me dude I didn't even respond to your first comment. Funny how you're coercing GPT but it's telling you otherwise. Southern Cushitic structures, bless those folks to who I am related to, is limited to Kenya & Tz.

@AfricansDNA They're not blasian. Blasian is a term created in the usa to describe a black american that is mixed with east asian or southeast asian. Stop trying to steal our terms and come up with your own.

Sandstone regulates heat naturally. Glass turns a building into an oven. One was designed for this climate. The other was copied from cities that have winter. Every building is a health decision. Image 1: 📍 Nubian Museum, Aswan Arch: Mahmoud El-Hakim Image 2: 📍 Nairobi, Kenya

@KermanFarmer Shonas had more substantial stone structures than Nubians, in quantity and continuity. It was for living, not tombs & temples. Shonas even when coupled up with other southern Bantus are more 'singular' than Nubians.

@_Keg___ Well yeah since Bantus have more than 400 subdivision ethnic groups and a combined population 300 million people . Nubians as a singular ethnic group def had the most though after Egypt
