@Kapelanski Indeed, many soundwalks are offered in places with sounds exclusively found in those areas. The soundwalks we lead at Arizona State University are held on campus and encompass powerful urban sounds every time!

@_ListenProject However, sound walks usually take place in environments that have unique qualities. But even the madness of the street might be preferable to blocking it out.

I watched a guy’s credit card fall out of his pocket, so I picked it up and chased after him. It took me way longer to get his attention that it should have because he had headphones in. What do you think about aural distractions in public?

@Kapelanski This is definitely true, somewhere like Brooklyn would require a much higher degree of aural awareness to stay safe than Amarillo, Texas.
