@BukhosiN @liv16_liv By double stacking, he was forced to serve a penalty he wasn’t given. Either don’t pit him, or pit him the following lap as he wouldn’t have caught the safety car. The issue with both of those is he would then finish ahead of Hamilton. This was the only way to keep him behind.

@BukhosiN @liv16_liv What risk is there pitting Leclerc a lap later? The gap to Isack was huge.
It would’ve been p2-p3 either way but Charles shouldn’t be punished because Lewis got a penalty. There was no risk, simply just our version of those BS Papaya rules.
English

@_LutherO @liv16_liv As I said you are biased because you are a Charles fan. This wasn't about finishing ahead or behind Hamilton. This was about Ferrari securing P2&P3 finish without risks hence Ferrari getting more points . It does seem unfair to Charles but helps the team.

@_LutherO @liv16_liv The problem is that you are a Charles fan. If you analyse it again from a neutral perspective you'll realise it was the best option for the team. It was going to help the team get a guaranteed 2-3. The problem is that all the Charles fans care about is H2H rather than the team.
English

@DREWNIVER5E @liv16_liv Been a Ferrari fan since Schumacher was in that car brother.
Ferrari first, driver second. Charles is 100% my favourite driver otg though.
Double stacking him with Lewis inarguably meant he had to serve a penalty’s he wasn’t given🤷♂️

@_LutherO @liv16_liv Bruh stop the 🧢 you are not a Ferrari fan first, you are a die hard Charles fan first. One look at your page and it’s clear to see. If you are a Ferrari fan you would see that keeping as it was was the best way to secure 2/3.

I didn’t mean literally ffs

When it's all said and done, I think the personal performance from Leclerc would have been a major talking point even if the podium was ultimately lost on the last lap.
Keeping a Mercedes and McLaren at bay, cars capable of being 20s ahead of a Ferrari, was an impressive feat. Not a perfect performance by any means, there were some mistakes, but it reassures the driver and the car that it can be pushed to the limit for nearly 57 laps and remain competitive despite the power deficit.
The good aspects of the weekend will be forgotten, which is understandable given the circumstances, but there were many positives to take.
