Just two more scenes to finish before the v2.4 update is ready! I'm currently aiming for a Christmas release date. This update won't include the Snyder boss battle/endings just yet, but they'll be included in the next update.

Still chugging away at the v2.4 update. The Mean Bean minigame has been polished up with some improvements and an animated title screen. Just got a few more side content scenes to wrap up alongside the revamped ED saga stuff before a release date is ready.

@realIvanIvanoff Nope. Had to put development on the backburner due to IRL, but I'm still aiming to release v2.4 this year. Although the boss fight against Snyder and new endings might not make it into this update.

@_Maple_Sugar is it early 2025 yet?

Sonichu's best friend Evails was arrested in CWCville due to the rumors against him.

@Squirrelmob75 In the pre-trolling days, Chris was upset about folks online saying Tails was gay for Sonic. He presumably scrapped Evails because of these "rumors" about Tails.

@Trunkit_ The current public build pre-caches all images on boot and suffers from poor optimization, leading to lag. A big chunk of 2.4's development has been towards fixing this, preloading images as needed with significantly reduced event objects on maps.

@_Maple_Sugar My game version is a few months old so idk if you fixed this, but the game seems to suffer from insane lag. I think it's because videos and audio are being loaded, but the memory isn't being freed.

The ED saga events have been expanded upon for v2.4

The stats screen isn't the only thing that's getting polished up, both the TV and computer interactions have been redone from source files with new animations!

The stats screen in the 2.4 update will now reflect Chris's location and sanity.

Censorship options are now finished. You can also swap age ratings at any time via "Honest Content" in the options menu!

@Squirrelmob75 The main issue is the few scenes with onscreen nudity and Kimmi. The rest of the game should be fine to stream. I was originally planning a standalone censored build, but decided to just make a toggle option instead.

@_Maple_Sugar How do you even make it streamer friendly, the entire entity known as CWC is anything but lol.

The 2.4 update will add censorship options to help make the game streamer friendly and for players that would prefer to play without explicit adult content.
