put the nostalgia aside, what benefits does mario and co buying the team back have? seriously. all another ownership change does is disrupt everything just after stabilizing the FO. FSG provides unlimited resources, let’s dubas do his job, and has a forward thinking approach

@_NickT__ They absolutely did not need to hire the GM a singular week after JR left lol. Especially with the roster they had already constructed. Should’ve waited into the summer to properly go through the process like FSG did 2 years later

could’ve just left Allvin as the intern GM in the meantime. idk why people use JR leaving mid season as an excuse for them? probably don’t rush the most important hire in the organization lol

Hextall hire was dumb & terrible, but he was in a tough spot. GMJR essentially quit on the team, everyone in the front office was leaving or had left by 2021. It was a shot in the dark that backfired. Hextall did the majority of his damage under FSG.
