I was talking about Connor Murphy just a few days before his passing. I miss him deeply. He was an incredibly intelligent, hyper-aware, and visionary person who, at times, over-intellectualized both his manic and depressive episodes. He wasn't perfect, and he made mistakes that had serious consequences. But the narrative that he was "just psychotic" misses who he really was. He was a thoughtful, deeply curious person living with bipolar disorder, and ultimately he couldn't keep it under control. I'll always remember him for his kindness, curiosity, and willingness to question everything. Rest in peace, Connor.
