A totally innocent 29-year old man was chased down and stabbed to death in broad daylight………for absolutely no reason. Members of Stokey16 gang got a message basically telling them: “Go put notches on your blade or you’re out.” So they went hunting for a random target. No personal beef. No reason. Just evil for clout. And the part that genuinely hit me was that whilst Joshua is running for his life, he collides with a little girl on roller skates, and even in that moment, he stops to check she’s okay before carrying on. Think about that. He’s being hunted like an animal, trying to get into a shop for safety, and he still had more humanity in his final seconds than those little rats had in their entire lives. Theo Momodu, Taylar Isaac and David Kerrigan were all involved. They all got life sentences. Good. They deserve it. But it doesn’t bring Joshua back, and it doesn’t fix the culture that’s turning kids into killers over gang status and “reputation.” This is a senseless waste of life. Rest in peace Joshua White. And this street filth needs to end.
