Pewbeam is live 🎉 This was just a dream, a dream I didn’t even know was possible—but I decided to pursue it anyway. Today, that dream is now a reality. We have a desktop app (Windows and macOS—this weekend) that can do all of this and even more. Over the last six months, I’ve pushed myself and my team hard, and I’ve seen people become hopeful and genuinely blessed by this product. I’ve received strong support from pastors, church members, techies, and several media houses and reporters. It has been a great honor to spend myself on something worthwhile. We’ve built an AI-native presentation app that displays relevant scriptures on screen in under 80 ms, without needing a volunteer. We’re starting with scriptures, but we’re growing into a comprehensive presentation software, with slides launching next month. From testing @pewbeam_ai in churches over the last four weeks, pastors have been able to focus on what matters instead of juggling or micromanaging the media team while preaching. Church members have been able to follow their pastor’s references in real time and take better notes. In the words of a member from one of the test churches: “Pewbeam changed the way I follow sermons in church completely.” This is the kind of impact I see Pewbeam having on people’s faith and on how church and worship are done. Pewbeam’s mission is to ensure the Church is not left behind in the AI era. We’re starting with this application, with many more to come in the next few months. We’ll keep working with stakeholders in the Christian faith, collect feedback, and build tools that better support discipleship. And unlike previous waves of technology, I believe we can be among the first movers in this AI revolution. With all that said, the final build of the app is ready, and we’re launching for public download on February 25, 2026. The app has a generous free tier for small churches and fellowships, and a paid plan (location-based pricing) that unlocks unlimited access to all features. If you’ve been following this journey, I appreciate you, and I assure you it will be worth it. Please download, subscribe, and use in your church.

I want to build a bible presentation AI agent for church use. Imagine Bible verses coming up on screen as the Pastor preaches just based on what he’s talking about or his paraphrases and quotes. I want to build this completely in public, starting today. Thoughts?

Me right now, moving to my new favorite vibe-coding tool, the one that finally brings my Figma designs to life exactly the way I have designed it. No more begging devs to build exactly what has been designed in Figma… it just gets it ✨

Pushed my First Commits last night These are the steps I followed 1. I started building in Google AI studio for the first time then faced a challenge with testing on my device 2. I downloaded the react codes to my device and created a repo in GitHub after chatting with macOS built in terminal 3. Making updates was slow so I got VS code to make it faster 4. Discovered it was better so I shutdown macOS terminal, created a new terminal inside vs code 5. Imported my project file folder into it and started making updates directly 6. Learned to pause and restart vite server using control C so I can push new build and test it 7. To test the app on my phone, I created an account with Vercel with my GitHub connected 8. Went back to terminal to test that all integrations are working including GitHub branch “main” and status 9. Pushed my first commit at 4AM, added the commit message, sync with terminal to allow build go through 10. It auto deployed in Vercel and was live on my localhost and phone with the Vercel url 11. I discovered copilot agent was in vs code so I tried it to make a small update to the bottom navigation since 50% of it was hiding behind the browser url Copilot completely moved the bottom navigation below the page 🥲 so I asked my buddy gpt for help 12. It taught me how to undo deployments using a set of codes including git reset —hard HEAD~1 git push —force These commands brought back my previous build but it didn’t push to Vercel so I updated the bottom navigation using “100dvh” instead of “100vh” 13. New commit was available now in Source control so I pushed and it was fixed Made some few adjustments turning the web app into a progressive web app on my phone so it can live as an app icon hiding web browser This process taught me a lot, I went from Hello World to a commit super fast My Complete Tool Stack Core Tech - React + TypeScript - Vite - Tailwind CSS Version Control & Deployment - Git (version control) - GitHub (repository + source control integration) - Vercel (CI/CD + auto deployment) Development Environment - VS Code AI / Assistance Tools - ChatGPT (architecture, debugging, guidance, decision support) - GitHub Copilot (inline code assistance) - Google AI Studio (experimentation, alternative code generation) My workflow - Develop locally - Commit changes - Push to GitHub - Auto-deploy via Vercel - Test on mobile - Iterate

So now I generate designs from Google stitch and take them into figma to refine them into taste , my own spacing. I break down cards and it has become too easy. The issue is I feel a bit guilty. I come from Africa where we do many things from scratch and you people used to be shamed for using washing machine because it makes you lazy. So it would take me a while before I adjust and use AI for desigh heavy lifting while I determine taste or emotions in design.

MVP done 🚀 Built Scripture Insight AI while learning to ship with AI through @darasoba’s class. It helps people discover the meaning, context, and deeper insights behind any Bible verse. Version one done and working great. Next to add features and improve the UI.

@darasoba @__deb_by I really can’t understand this “AI can’t generate taste” statement any longer. As a designer, before you design, you create a moodboard, search for inspiration, and “steal like an artist”. Right now, I just feed that moodboard to AI and the results are mind blowing!
