I have so much more respect for Apple since I started making my app. I've probably spent more time having to adjust my code to comply with their privacy policies than time spent making the actual app 🫠. #ios #reactnative

Expo go is a neat app to simulate your native code, but man this red screen is the worst 😅

Okay things about to get crazyyyy. 🤯 Going to create an experience where you write out your requirements in user story format, an LLM reads that user story then uses the Canvas APIs to build that react component. You can then edit that component directly in the Canvas or edit the code directly.

It looks super rough, but finally got my analyzer to render out matches. Note the duplicate bug 🙄, but I'm happy something is working!

@SpencerKSchiff @emollick The speed bard was developed also has to be considered. It's not as good, but their progress is prominent.

Google Bard has a new AI model, and the whitepaper Google released focuses mostly on translation and math (where it seems to beat GPT-4) and coding (where it doesn't). In my various informal language tests I run on every model (write a sestina, etc.) it trails GPT-4 & Bing a lot

@OpenAI Noticed a bug the other day. I gave it my cover letter with the instructions "save this cover letter as the original template". I then gave instructions to modify the template and it returned completrly different information- possibly someone else's cover letter.

We applied GPT-4 to interpretability — automatically proposing explanations for GPT-2's 300k neurons — and found neurons responding to concepts like similes, “things done correctly,” or expressions of certainty. We aim to use Al to help us understand Al: openai.com/research/langu…

One of the first pieces of advice I remember is that if I'm repeating code, I'm doing something wrong. So it always felt 'wrong' when I would rewrite tons of css. Now im learning Sass and found out about the 'extend' feature. I knew there had to be a better way 🤣 #frontend #css

@MinHe28367449 This is when I find it useful to use chatgpt as a tool. I like to ask it how I can improve a block of code when I feel like there's a better way to do it. I try to not feel bad while using it and see it more of a personal instructor 🫣

Whenever I find myself repeating code, I feel really bad, especially when I don't know how to improve it.

@MooseTesourao @dan_abramov AI will be a very useful tool before its a replacement. Learn the fundamentals but also learn how to use the new tool to help you grow faster. It's basically a more direct stack overflow for helping someone get over road blocks.

And this is why I was having a hard time. The documentation on getting access to the API kept referring me to other things I had to setup prior. At one point I even lost track of what step I was on😅 Anyways, I'm glad to finally close all these tabs(there was more than this).

Making an app that reads labels on hair products is turning out to be a bit more challenging than expected. Check my bio for my current struggle 😮‍💨 Repo: github.com/JpadillaCoding… #MERN #github

@cergyk1337 How do attackers know to exploit this vulnerability? Is this a downside of open source code?
