Okay, here we go my post-show thoughts for Hearts2House Day 2 in Seoul.
(Please be advised that this is gonna be pretty lengthy post 🙇🏻♀️)
Tbh, the main reason I decided to watch this fanmeeting was because I really, really wanted to see the live performance of in person (yes, I was dying to see Juun during the dance break part). There were a few chances for me to see them through events and festivals before, but I chose to wait until they had a 단독 concert or fanmeeting, which thankfully came pretty soon.
The fanmeeting was adequately fun and enjoyable. Their rookie spirit kind of sent me into a wave of nostalgia. It is a vibe I have not experienced in quite a long time (I mean, I have been loving a group that is about to turn 20 for almost 15 years now 🤣), so this felt nice and refreshing.
I already suspected that I'd be very entertained just by seeing Juun on stage in person and by watching the group's fun dynamics (especially the Ana & Ian duo's antics), and that was mainly true. But surprisingly, the most lasting impression that stayed with me after leaving the venue was how much I truly like their performing attitude as a group.
I've watched their performance videos here and there before, and tbh it wasn't difficult to tell that they are a 'well-equipped' team since debut. Of course, there is still room for improvement in many areas. But watching them in person yesterday convinced me that these kids really take their duty to perform on stage seriously (among all the other things they have to master as idols). I was pleasantly surprised by how good their performance were. I could sense that few members were not in a pristine condition, but they're still very energetic and passionate.
Also.. I'm pretty well informed about the differences in their training periods and their distinct artistic preferences and backgrounds. Still, I genuinely think they did a really good job presenting a harmonious, pleasant, and enjoyable performance as one group. It felt like a nice amuse-bouche, just enough to make you want more.
What kept running through my mind after watching them yesterday was how unfortunate it is that their discography is still quite small 😭 I swear, if it were possible and allowed, I would've screamed and asked for an encore stage of and . Two hours flew by so quickly, and I left still craving more of their performances. I really hope they can stack up their discography soon and hold a full concert.
If you've been following me for a while, you'd know how (annoyingly) picky I am when it comes to adding artists to my repeat concert watch list 🤣 My friends here have practically given up on asking me to go to other idol concerts because they know I only attend Soshi and RV members' or group concerts. But I think it is safe to say that I'm officially adding Hearts2Hearts to the list.
Anyway, it was a really happy experience. Tbh I'm currently in a very pressuring and stressful phase of my master's study, and yesterday's fanmeeting allowed me to loosen up a bit. Can't wait for the day I can attend their concert!🩵
