@Grmzical @athiestboi He could've also forgiven us from the start and not have to kill Jesus. Or, if he needed to, he could've done so 4000 years prior, immediately after the fall. Or he could not kill Jesus but instead have a temporary purgatory before heaven. Plenty of ways to do this better.
