I have a distinct memory of another one in aberdeen where i was having to play kneeling because the decks were set up on the arm of a sofa (???) and trying really hard to mix in Django's Revenge by @HorsepowerProd while some level ten yapper was in my other ear

there was a NYE one in Aberdeen once where a bunch of the resident deejays from Origin (the first club i played regularly!) turned up unnanounced with flightcases full of records and half of them passed out on my bed.

all my favourite memories of mixing tunes have been house parties lol. settin decks up in the window of a garden party, sticky cellars in east london, living room afters where the host keeps handing me random vinyl to play lol
