@BigFish3000 Nice try. I took the Amtrak home. We tried to pay TSA almost a dozen times and Republicans said no every time. Then the GOP Speaker closed session last night and sent everyone home. Please Google what party is in charge of Congress right now. The answer may surprise you!

This is absolutely infuriating and completely idiotic. An estimated 95,000 scientists and researchers have left federal agencies since Trump returned to the White House. These are the people tracking hurricanes, studying pediatric cancer, and modeling the climate tipping points that determine whether we can still prevent catastrophe. We lost them because this administration defunded their work, shuttered their offices, and made clear that finding out the truth is no longer a government priority. NASA’s own administrator just said studying climate change isn’t part of NASA’s mission. The agency that first warned Congress about global warming in 1988 now treats that work as a distraction. Meanwhile, China and Europe are recruiting our scientists, funding their labs, and making long-term bets on the industries of the future while we gut the research infrastructure that took generations to build. We are surrendering global scientific leadership voluntarily, deliberately, and one resignation letter at a time. nytimes.com/2026/03/25/cli…

Trump just said Iran hit the USS Gerald R. Ford “from 17 angles” and the crew “had to run to save our lives.” His own Pentagon says it was a laundry room fire. A sitting president publicly contradicting his own DoD during an active war is extraordinary — regardless of which version is true.

Here is the spokesperson for the Israeli military back in February, putting a target on the back of Al Manar correspondent Ali Shoeib and Al Mayadeen correspondent Fatima Ftouni. The Israelis killed them last night, along with Fatima's brother, Mohammad Ftouni, a photographer. They are not denying they did so, and are claiming they killed Ali because he was reporting in the south, a war crime of the highest order. They have not even bothered to present a justification for assassinating Fatima, though this post makes clear she was also targeted, and wasn't just killed because she was with Ali. To invade another country and then to kill unarmed journalists there because they are reporting on your invasion is so far beyond the pale it's shocking even for Israel.

The World's Dumbest Tariff Has Been Revealed “Trump’s 50% tariff and removal of an exemption for Canada drove producers there to send US-bound shipments to Europe instead. In just a few months, Aluminerie Alouette – North America's largest smelter – saw its European sales rise from 4% of production to 57%. Rio Tinto Plc largely stopped shipping Canadian aluminum to the US, and even Alcoa diverted around 100,000 metric tons to non-US destinations.” bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

But instead of detaining settlers or dismantling the illegal outpost, the soldiers targeted the Palestinian residents of Tayasir and a CNN team covering the incursion.” @JDiamond1 @AbeerSalmanCNN cnn.com/2026/03/27/mid…

Israel has just killed Lebanese journalist Fatima Ftouni. I am honoured to have known her. Just at the beginning of the month she reported on Israel killing seven members of her own family live on air.

The Surgeon General of the United States should be a licensed physician who, at the very least, completed a residency. If you’re going to be the chief pilot for an airline, you should probably have finished flight training and be licensed to fly. Right?

I'll never forget how the Israelis bombed al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza in October 2023 and the world was shocked and horrified. Israel denied it, saying they would never commit such a heinous crime. Then they went on to bomb every single hospital in Gaza. Now they are doing the same in Lebanon and Iran. The Israelis have bombed at least 128 medical facilities and ambulances across south Lebanon. In Iran, the US and Israel have bombed 25 hospitals and medical centres. In Lebanon, they are committing double tap strikes to kill medics and rescue workers, just as they did in Gaza. Medics are forced to delay their responses. These monsters are normalizing war crimes that were once unthinkable.

This is a SCANDAL; the Trump admin is deliberately consolidating all deportation cases of an ethnic minority that the President has called "garbage" in front of a handpicked group of judges and with dramatically accelerated timelines. A lawsuit was filed yesterday to stop it.

This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America.  Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion. They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us. This was not a drill. This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans. Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst. Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends. The American people deserve to know how badly this president has damaged our standing in the world.  bbc.com/news/articles/…

Nancy Mace gives Dems the votes to pass the War Powers resolution. Meeks said go talk to Republicans. Prem talked to Mace, I talked to Davidson. The votes are there. If Dems don’t put it on the floor now it’s because they don’t want it to pass now.
Zeteo@zeteo_news

Just as Democrat Gregory Meeks told Drop Site he would not put the War Powers Resolution to a vote because he didn't think it would win, Rep. Nancy Mace told @prem_thakker the case she makes for one. Mace's possible support could’ve been enough to help pass the resolution.
