Growing up in an inner-city community can be an uphill battle, but I was fortunate to have access to a community center that truly saved my life and helped me find my way. That’s why I felt honored to paint a mural at the Palama settlement , which I hope will inspire others who may be struggling in similar circumstances. The idea behind the mural is to encourage people to look for inspiration in unexpected places. It’s a reminder that you don’t always have to aim for the stars to find your star, and that sometimes, the most unlikely source of inspiration can lead you in the right direction. My own experience is proof that you can overcome obstacles and create something truly special, even if you start from nothing. I would like to express my gratitude to @mrjasperwong @Amy_fomie wordlwidewalls and everyone who made this opportunity possible. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my wife, kids, the Palama Settlement, other artists and the super star @CONRAAAD who traveled all the way here to help me get the job done. I’m overflowing with excitement and can’t wait to paint the next mural! #art #mural #worldwidewalls
