I’m not saying that OPLA is without fault - there’s plenty they could have done better but how they adapt the source material is not one of them. That’s my Ted talk thank you for coming.

I’ve talked to quite a few people who decided to give the source material a try /after/ watching OPLA and are now obsessed with the series as a whole. Don’t we want new fans to come into the series?

I’m so tired of OPLA haters complaining that it’s “not faithful” like bruh it’s an adaptation of the source material that Oda has hands on. Are we new to what adaptation means? One of the things it does well is bring in new people into the series as a stepping stone.

feel like im Finally Almost Kinda Getting Good at optcg 😭 this weekend i won my regular locals on friday & placed 4th & 6th at heroines cups. my new years resolution was to win one (1) locals which I did first in jan! Think now it's to place in a treasure cup 😤
