@presbyrista @kittenaround_51 ... well, you were told wrong, during IROPS (irregular operations) no airline is putting a minor child in a hotel room alone 🙄 IF they must stay the night, parents are notified & a same sex flight attendant is assigned to stay with the child in a hotel, not chairs near the gate

Never, ever send your minor children on an airplane, even if they are “escorted” by the airline. I was told that in the event of this kind of disruption, that minor children were put up in Hotels. Also, if they felt, they were too young to be put up in a hotel, they could sleep on the chairs next to the airline gate.
