We did not remove HEESEUNG from our updates to give up on him. That was never what we wanted. We held on as long as we could, you all know that. Some people even harassed us for weeks and reported our account, our posts about schedule have been an avenue of hate, harassment and disrespectful remarks while we were out here hoping the noise would stop, hoping the hate would fade. But it did not. HEESEUNG has not even debuted yet, and his image is already being damaged, painted as someone he is not, and even treated like a criminal. Once he debuts, non-fans will not dig deeper for truth, and soon, when he debuts, he will be welcomed with a negative image, do we want that to happen? No. Do you think we would be happy knowing that what we do adds to that damage? Do you think we would want to see that? Every time we read these things, it breaks us, because we know the person they are talking about, and it is not him at all. At the same time, JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI are being dragged, compared, reduced, disrespected, and turned against each other. Watching all of them be treated this way after everything they have gone through is something we can no longer stay silent about. We are literally tired and drained, but we will not allow anyone to paint us as people who turned our backs on HEESEUNG. You do not know what we are going through behind this account, you don’t have the slightest idea. If what we do for him only adds to the damage to his image, then we have to stop. We believe that is not selfish, because if we were really selfish, we would continue what we do despite his image being shattered in the worst way possible. So do not ever question us, because what we endure is not something bearable. We know that no matter what we choose to do, there will always be people who question us, misunderstand us, or disagree with us. But we reached a point where we had to choose what is best for all of them. If continuing what we do only adds to the damage on his name or gives more space for harm, and if what we do warrants JUNGWON, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI to be thrown off, be bad-mouthed, and disrespected time and time again, then we can’t continue. Please understand that removing HEESEUNG from our updates does not mean we care for him any less. It does not mean we are leaving him behind. This decision comes from the pain of watching ENHYPEN and HEESEUNG be treated this way and the helplessness that comes with it. We just hope you all do what you want, and support the way you want. Let people be. Stop harassing your co-ENGENES, stop harassing fanbases. At the end of the day, everything we do is for ENHYPEN. That has always been our reason, and even now, even like this, it still is.
