So Offset owed Lil Tjay $10,000. When Lil Tjay asked for the money back, Offset told him on Instagram, "Get it back in blood." Then the beef started. Lil Tjay began calling Offset broke on every livestream he did and warned people not to lend him money because he had a gambling addiction. In March 2025, Lil Tjay also posted Instagram photos of his jewelry with a caption shading Offset: "I could never be broke like Set, running off making smoke over lunch money.' Offset fired back in the comments, challenging Tjay to settle it physically on a livestream. Fast forward to Monday evening, April 6, 2026... The two met coincidentally at Hard Rock Hotel. A few words were exchanged, and the two began fighting each other.. Offset was winning the fight and beating Lil tjay down but then he got shot in the leg. Rumors say Lil Tjay shot him, but if really did it, is he justified in shooting Offset, or is shooting someone over a fight for self defense never okay?
