Early tallies thoughts:
- Will continue to be hard to call between Sinn Féin, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael
- Very good fo SDs, pretty good for Labour, fine for PBP
- Terrible for Greens, disappointing for Aontú, IndIrl, Independents

@TVsCarlKinsella I feel like we’re waiting for the point where an obviously left party looks viable as a Big Party. SF unfortunately have swung right on immigration etc which turns left wingers off them, but also people don’t give first preference to SDs/PBP etc cos they think it’s pointless

I expect the Soc Dems to poll either 3% or 4% on the exit poll. The party is only contesting 25/43 constituencies. In 2020, a 2.9% actual poll (3.5% on the exit poll) saw 6 seats. Soc Dems friends - don’t lose heart even if you see a figure around 3%!
