Agents are particularly hard-to-debug software. For one, and by design, AI models behave in non-deterministic ways. Even two identical prompts don't always yield the same output. But agents are also complex distributed systems. They involve multiple steps of computation across functions and sandboxes, touching dozens of API services that can go down, rate limit you, etc. Nailing down observability out of the box for eve.dev on Vercel was a key priority for the team, and the feedback so far has been 🔥↓
Vercel Developers@vercel_dev

You can now trace and debug eve agent runs with Vercel Observability. Inspect model and tool calls, runtime errors, and token usage in one place. vercel.com/changelog/eve-…

Still seeing token anxiety everywhere We're paying below minimum wage for development and still asking how we can pay less Don't think in raw tokens, think in value shipped per token

There are accounts out there with 80,000 followers pulling 5 likes a post. The algorithm reads that and shrugs. Followers are a number. Engagement is people leaning in. I'd take a small room that's awake over a stadium that's asleep. Start counting who shows up.

@ahiakwo_john @studeylearn The CAC conversation always hits different when you're the one who has to answer it in a room. Pitch events like this are underrated for forcing you to know your own numbers before investors do.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to pitch @studeylearn at Tear Down Saturdays, an event that brings founders together to pitch their startups and receive honest, actionable feedback to help them become investor-ready. It was an eye-opening experience. Some of the key areas investors and mentors emphasized included: • Clearly defining the investor ask. • Explaining how the funds will be used. • Highlighting traction with measurable metrics. • Including financial projections. • Presenting a revenue and profitability forecast. • Showing a clear growth roadmap. • Understanding and communicating Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). Beyond the feedback, one of the biggest highlights was connecting with founders building incredible products across the Port Harcourt tech ecosystem. It’s inspiring to see the level of innovation happening here. I also had the privilege of a one-on-one pitch session with Ighódálóh Oséyómón, CEO of Bamboo Group and Silicon Delta. He shared valuable business insights on refining Studeylearn, strengthening our positioning, and better reaching university students. I left the event with a clearer vision and a stronger pitch. Every piece of feedback is another step toward building a product that truly transforms how university students study and learn. Grateful to Silicon Delta Innovation Hub and everyone who made the event possible. The founder journey continues. I’m Ahiakwo John, founder of @studeylearn, an 18yr old fullstack web and mobile developer with 4+ years of experience. Studeylearn is an AI-powered learning platform that helps university students learn smarter and improve their academic performance. It provides AI study tools, learning resources, study groups, gamification and social features that make learning more effective and engaging. @ladicodez Docker clicked for me the moment I stopped thinking about it as deployment and started thinking about it as packaging your environment so it never works on your machine again. Good series to start with.

It's finally time 🚀 I'm starting a new series where I'll be breaking down technical concepts in a simple, practical way, starting with Docker. This video explains what Docker is, why companies use it, and why it's become a must-know tool for developers. Tomorrow, I'll be dropping a detailed article, and in the next video, we'll Dockerize a real project together. This is just the beginning. I'd love your feedback, and if you find it helpful, a repost would mean a lot. ❤️ Now, Docker in a job description won't look so scary anymore. 😂

My Stance on Road Development There is a pertinent reason I have consistently advocated that we should refrain from initiating new road construction projects until we have thoroughly rehabilitated and maintained our existing road network. Instead of undertaking new ventures and dualization projects that offer marginal benefits, our primary focus ought to be on repairing the critical roads already in place. Consider, for instance, the Asaba–Benin Road. This thoroughfare is a vital artery within Nigeria's transportation infrastructure. Travellers traversing from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Rivers, Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River, Abia, Enugu, and portions of Benue and Kogi States to Lagos are compelled to utilise this route. Despite its significance, substantial sections of this road are in a lamentable condition. It has become a major impediment, precipitating persistent traffic congestion and inflicting undue hardship on travellers, businesses, and transport operators. Regrettably, this situation is not unique; it reflects the reality on many of our busiest national highways. Our efforts should be directed towards the reconstruction and maintenance of our current road infrastructure before we announce plans for new road projects. The Nigerian populace requires functional and motorable roads, not merely projects that garner public attention. Efforts aimed at superficial improvements for political gain should not supersede the urgent need to address the condition of our existing, critical roadways. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@dev_maims I'd add Gemini Flash when you need something fast and cheap in production and you stop caring about which name is on it. The model loyalty thing is a waste of energy. Use whatever finishes the task cleanly.

If you're not switching between AI models based on the task, you're probably leaving performance on the table. Claude for coding. GPT for writing. DeepSeek for when your budget says "not today." 😅

@EOEboh Most builders talk to users after they've already fallen in love with the solution they built. By then the feedback that matters gets filtered through everything you don't want to change.

The best time to validate your idea was before you built it. The second best time is right now. Have you talked to a single potential user yet?

@code_bytein No transaction wrapping the read and the update so every concurrent request reads stock as 1 before any of them writes the decrement. SELECT FOR UPDATE inside a transaction or an atomic UPDATE with a WHERE stock > 0 check

@amosuibk Always be passively in the market. You don't have to take anything. But knowing what's out there changes how you negotiate where you already are.
