@SqlrUs Nah, had to go disable all the jobs. Not sure why I didn't think of the massive list of jobs from the application this server supports (it's so bad). But I'm fairly sure the reboot won't hurt it long term.

@_neckbeard Did a reboot fix it?

Oh boy, how does one do about removing a database that SQL agent is trying to access, but was detached, and data/log files deleted. So it's "still there" but not really. (Cleaning up someone else's mess.) #sqlhelp

@SqlrUs Turns out is was a couple, of a dozen or so jobs, scheduled to run every minute. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

@SqlrUs Kind of thinking the same thing. I haven't tried to reproduce it since I don't have SQL installed on my new computer yet.

@_neckbeard I'm trying to reproduce the problem locally. I'll be curious to see if a restart throws an error because those files aren't there.

@SqlrUs I tried and it's a no-go. Going to do a restart of the server after hours, maybe it's just stuck on something. It's SQL Agent too, which is weird.

@_neckbeard I'm wondering if you created a "dummy" one with the same name and then actually dropped it if that would clear things. I'm not sure.

@SqlrUs It does not. Though when viewing user object mapping, SSMS says "some databases could not be shown".

@_neckbeard If it was really detached it's dropped from master and/or the catalog IIRC. Does it show offline/present in the object explorer? #sqlhelp

@AlanBarber @nalgene True. But one designed by them would be pretty awesome too. My current brush (the 4th I've bought) still doesn't work as good as it should.

If it were a thing, I would totally buy a brush designed by @nalgene specifically for their narrow mouth bottles and lids. That would be a fantastic addition to your product lineup!
